About our team

While Adam has spent significant time in Boston, he is very proud of his home state Wisconsin.

Prior to joining Signal Vine, Adam worked at uAspire (one of Signal Vine’s very first customers) for nearly fourteen years, advising students, managing teams, and securing resources to help scale the organization to new geographies. In the Account Executive role, he is excited to leverage his passion for college access and success, with his experience in fundraising and partnership management.

His daughter Quinn keeps him very busy in his downtime, but when not chasing her around he loves to BBQ and sneak in watching his alma mater Marquette University play basketball.

Prior to joining Signal Vine, he graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Adil went on to work as a Leadership Consultant at Phi Gamma Delta International Headquarters, where he traveled to 55 universities facilitating educational programs for undergraduate students.

He also spent time in a sales development role at Inside Higher Ed. In his free time, Adil is an active high school basketball referee and enjoys going to museums and concerts in the D.C. area.

Alex graduated from Bentley University where he earned a BS in human resource management and minored in economics.

A DC native, Alex is happy to be living in the city again. In his free time, he enjoys going to concerts and riding his bike.

Alex graduated with a BA in Art from Yale University with a concentration in photography and earned her Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education from Rhode Island College in her home state. She loves to help schools affect positive change with their students.

In her free time, Alex enjoys crafting of all kinds, especially knitting, and painting watercolors of her travels in France.

Alia was born and raised in Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Vermont with a major in Global Studies and a minor in Spanish and Community & International Development.

In 2016, she spent her spring semester studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain. Alia loves traveling and has visited 5/7 continents. She loves to work with philanthropic organizations as she won an international contest with TOMS and went on a giving trip in Honduras to distribute shoes.

Andrew is a proud Maryland native who puts Old Bay Seasoning on (almost) everything he eats. He also enjoys hanging out with his pet guinea pig Andy.

Prior to joining Signal Vine, he graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science. After graduating, he helped grow a Maryland-based start-up craft brewery, where he was responsible for a number of different roles including sales, marketing, and account management. When not at work, Andrew enjoys cheering for DC sports teams, hiking, and staying active with friends.

As Senior Director of Customer Success, her job is two-fold: providing operations and support to a quickly-growing company, and being the primary point of contact for launching customers on the platform.

Prior to Signal Vine, Arianna worked at Alden & Ott in office management and customer service. Arianna graduated with a BA in History from James Madison University, and spent a summer studying abroad in Florence, Italy. She’s proud to reveal that she can finally do a pushup.

Ashley is a proud Penn State graduate (WE ARE!) where she earned her BS in Marketing and participated in the largest student run philanthropy in the world, THON.

Prior to Signal Vine, Ashley interned in New York City for a summer, studied abroad in Barcelona for a semester, and has traveled to over 11 countries including Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

She is most passionate about helping others, and loves art, animals, her two golden retrievers, and most importantly, music.

Brendan is experienced with Java and various web development languages and tools including HTML, CSS, PHP, Linux, OS X, MySQL, Apache, JavaScript, and Drupal.

He makes sure the Signal Vine platform runs smoothly. He recently moved back to North Dakota and enjoys photography.

Brian is an entrepreneur with a BS in Marketing from Indiana’s Kelley School of Business and an Executive MBA from Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business. He has deep experience in technology, philanthropy, and high-growth companies. Prior to starting Signal Vine, Brian was the Chief Operating Officer at Arabella Advisors, a philanthropy services firm which grew 1000% during his five years. But most of his career has been spent building technology companies from an early stage.

In addition to Brian’s entrepreneurial ventures, he has helped grow several early-stage businesses, most notably InphoMatch/Mobile 365 where he established key contracts which became 75% of its revenue. The business was eventually sold to Sybase in 2006 for $430 million.

Before joining Signal Vine, Cassie graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz where she earned a BS degree in Business Management Economics and Accounting.

She is working towards becoming a CPA and in her free time she likes to travel, go on hikes, and learn Italian.

Chanel grew up in sunny California and graduated from UC San Diego with a B.S. in Management Science and minor in Accounting. Currently, she resides in Maryland and is enrolled in an MBA program at University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. She has several years of Saas experience in various industries, spending the last 3 years in Higher Education in implementation and project management roles. Before starting a career with software companies, she was a former Peace Corps volunteer in Moldova, teaching K-12 students.

When Chanel is not working on projects, she is upcycling old wine and whiskey bottles, traveling, exercising and spending time with friends and family.
